I’m focusing more and more on the words that we speak.
The words that you speak.
Because your reality is created by your words. Believe it or not.
Any thought that causes dis-stress, like “I need more money” or “I wish I was different” or “They should be different” – you couldn’t even imagine if we dissect each word what we actually mean by them.
What is “they”.
What is “should”.
What is “be”.
What is “different”.
A friend recently pointed out to me that until we feel worthy and deserving, life will not change.
So I looked into what “worthy” means, and where it came from.
Worthy means “deserving attention”. Deserving – to devote in service of. Attention – to focus our mind on. So “do I feel worthy” actually means “do I devote in service of focusing my mind on.. myself?”
Of course we rarely do focus our minds on ourselves.. and since we always do things for a specific reason, the only reason we’d not focus our minds on ourselves is because it’s simply too painful.
What is “pain”? A mere sensation?
When I focus my mind on myself (and all this stuff comes up where I wish I were different and where I’m lacking and where I’m not meeting some expectation of how I “should” be) I feel a warmth in my stomach, a tingling in my hands, a knot in my throat, a heaviness in my chest.
I think you and I can handle that. Or learn to. Get better at.
Until you feel worthy, until you focus your mind on yourself, until you feel the sensations…
This is the only reason for any “bad” circumstance to ever be in your life.
